This comprehensive engineering programme will equip you with multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in engineering and other non-technical fields. Choose your own path in this broad-based, flexible curriculum that will give you a competitive edge as a job seeker following graduation such as engineer, scientist/researcher, consultant in biotechnology, energy, operations, entrepreneur, business analyst and etc.
The programme has a flexible structure that gives you a choice of majors in five areas, including Healthcare Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Systems Analytics.
Students can pursue second major in one of the remaining four majors of BEng(EngSc), or other second major and minor options offered by other faculties.
With strong demand for graduates with multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in both technical and non-technical fields, graduates of the BEng in Engineering Science programme will have an edge in their careers thanks to their broadened horizons, broad-based training, and better preparation to embark on challenging careers in engineering, business, education or government sector.
Graduates of the programme are also well equipped to pursue further studies for postgraduate degrees in various disciplines.
